American Bullfrogs Facts:
- Bullfrogs are amphibians.
- Diet: Bullfrogs are carnivores eat crayfish, water beetles, snails, dragonfly nymphs.
- Predators: Turtles, foxes, herons, and raccoons eat bullfrogs.
- Coloration: Bullfrogs are green and brown.
- Gender: Male bullfrogs have a yellow throat. Female bullfrogs have white throat.
- Size: They grow up to 8 inches and weigh over 1 lb.
- Life cycle: Spend two winters as tadpoles and can live around 8 years.
- Eyes: Frogs have large, bulging eyes that sit at the top of their skulls.
